Brendan Rodgers sanctions Celtic duo loan transfer exit as pair head out
Brendan Rodgers has sanctioned the loan exits of both Matthew Anderson and Ben Summers to Admira Wacker.
Anderson, 20, played for the Austrian club last season on loan and made an impression with one goal and six assists from 21 league appearances. The left-back told previously how he had enjoyed his stint at the Hoops' feeder club as part of the first group of kids to make the move over.
And now he has returned, as confirmed by Admira Wacker's social media account. "Transfer news: Two Celtic talents on loan in the southern city! Admira has secured two reinforcements from Scotland! Matthew Anderson and Ben Summers are joining the southern city team on loan from Celtic Glasgow."

Summers, meanwhile, played for the first-team under Ange Postecoglou and has been crying out for game time as he's been plying his trade with the B team in the Lowland League since.
He also spent last year at Dunfermline Athletic on loan in the Championship where he made 20 appearances, scoring twice and assisting the same number of goals.
