Brendan Rodgers tries not to laugh in Celtic press conference and gives reporter one word answer
Brendan Rogers gave an iconic one word answer to what might be the longest question he's ever been asked.
The ex-Liverpool manager will lead Celtic into a Champions League clash tonight with Belgian side Club Brugge. Although the Hoops are in a playoff position, it is still only 18th. Brugge lie in the penultimate playoff position in 23rd.
Because the new Champions League format results in such a large league table, positions can be misleading. A win for the Scottish team tonight would take them above the likes of Manchester City and Atletico Madrid.

Before Rodgers' side took to the pitch, the 51-year-old had to deal with a separate challenge. During his pre-match press conference, a reporter asked a question which took just over 50 seconds to get out.
When talking about the potential dangers of a Brugge player, the reporter asked: "He's got an average Sofascore rating of 7.71 in his last 10 starts.
"Just to give a comparison, Nicolas Kuhn has an average of 6.6 so that kind of tells us who we are up against in terms of the quality of player.
"With Alistair Johnson already on a booking, from a recent European game, is it important we nullify Brugge before the ball gets to him so that it's a less of a possibility of maybe a foul being committed because, he's a player that does get fouled as well.
"In his last 10 games he's been fouled an average of 1.9 times, so just under 2, and then Alistair Johnson commits an average of 1.2 fouls per game.
"So, is it again important that we nullify Brugge before the ball gets to him to sort of prevent maybe an issue for the next game where Alistair Johnson might not be available?"
Finally after almost a minute, the reporter did get to the end of his question. Towards the end, you could see the Celtic manager begin to smile as he held his laughter in.
Rogers then answered the lengthy question with a snappy one word answer: "Yes." The rest of the room chuckled at the Celtic bosses response.
It was almost as if the ex-Liverpool coach was trying to prove a point with his comeback. Although the journalist had clearly done his research, sometimes it's better short and sweet.
