Brentford fixtures for Championship 2019-20 season: Full schedule with dates

Brentford kick off the 2019-20 Championship season with Birmingham at home as they look to push on to win promotion to the Premier League.

The Bees will be targeting promotion in their final season at Griffin Park, and showed enough fight last term to suggest they can kick on and find some consistency.

A dreadful run of results - coupled with Dean Smith's exit to Aston Villa - saw Brentford pick up just three wins from September 15 to December 22, but Thomas Frank steadied the ship to end with a promising end-of-season run of form.

The 2019-20 season will be the Bees' sixth consecutive campaign in the second tier of English football, and fans will be hoping it will be their last as they target a seat at the top table.
