Malik Ouzia was at Wembley and here’s how he rated the Bees.
David Raya 7
Hardly had a save to make but distribution as accurate as ever. Redemption after the error which gave Fulham their opener a year ago.
Henrik Dalsgaard 8
So reliable, did not put a foot wrong. Claimed Brentford were more mature and assured than a year ago and typified that.
Pontus Jansson 6
Terrible defending almost gifted Ayew one back after the break and forced off before the end but after two near-misses, with Leeds and Brentford, is on his way to the top-flight.
Ethan Pinnock 7
His usual assured self. Was playing non-league football four years ago but has been a mountain at the back and deserves his top-flight chance.
Mads Roerslev 7
Youngster showed great energy and then composure to tee-up Marcondes’ goal. A weak-link at times this season but not today.
Vitaly Janelt 7
Brentford’s German machine has been one of the finds of the season and produced another flawless display.
Mathias Jensen 6
Fairly quiet game by his standards but will just be happy to have left the pitch in one piece after a horrible Fulton tackle.
Sergi Canos 7
Stunning pass carved Swansea open to win the penalty. A wonderful servant, this will mean more to him than most.
Emiliano Marcondes 9
Powerful low finish beat Woodman at near post and ran the show from midfield. His late-season return to form has been key to play-off success.
Bryan Mbuemo 9
Justified inclusion immediately with run in behind to win penalty, then led breakaway to double lead. His best performance of the season.
Cool as ever from the spot, then almost scored one of the great Play-off Final goals when rattling the bar with looping volley. Leads from the front and will have Premier League defences quaking.
Winston Reid N/A
Nice experience to have to help see game out after Jansson injury.
Saman Ghoddos N/A
Marcus Forss N/A
