Bristol City player ratings vs Plymouth Argyle: Anis Mehmeti stands out as Reds secure home win
Max O'Leary - 6
The City keeper had next to nothing to do as the Robins kept Argyle at arm's length. Made the saves and interventions he had to but it wasn't anything too strenuous.

Cam Pring - 8
The left-back was back to his brilliant best. Lively as ever down the left-flank to carve out some excellent chances and interchange well with Mehmeti. Worked hard out of possession as well to keep the clean sheet intact.
Luke McNally - 7
Had a couple of loose passes and a few shaky moments but for the most part was solid at the back. By no means his most difficult test, but he still did what was needed of him.
Rob Dickie - 7
As composed as ever on what was a pretty routine day for City's backline at Ashton Gate. He potentially could have done more from set-pieces as he had one or two good chances.
Zak Vyner - 7
He may not be a right-back, but the academy graduate was a force to be reckoned with out wide both in defence and attack. Unfortunate not to get on the scoresheet with a couple of cracking efforts and interchanged excellently with Hirakawa to break down the away side's backline.
Jason Knight - 7
The City skipper should have scored with his header in the first half following Bird's corner but couldn't hit the target. Was combative as ever in the middle of the park and ran the show as he so often does.
Max Bird - 6
In a deeper role, this afternoon following Marcus McGuane's injury. That meant Bird's impact in possession was slightly limited but he still showed flashes of what he can do with the ball at feet and got stuck in defensively. Set-piece delivery has to be better.
Anis Mehmeti - 9
He may be frustrating at times when he gets into the final third, but the winger's performance today was what he's all about. Scored two excellent goals and inadvertently set up Twine's opener. Back to his brilliant best.
Scott Twine (off for George Earthy, 66') - 7
Restored to the starting line-up for the first time since the Severnside derby draw with Cardiff and while his goal wasn't pretty, it was needed. Got better as the game wore on and he got rid of any rust. Should have had more than one mind you.
Yu Hirakawa (off for Sam Bell, 88') - 7
Deployed further up the field than he was against Watford and looked a lot more dangerous. Carried a constant threat down the right wing and created the Robins' best chances in the first half. If he can add a more consistent final ball to his game, he will be a force to be reckoned with.
Nahki Wells (off for Sinclair Armstrong, 74) - 7
The Bermudian couldn't complain about a lack of service on Saturday afternoon and while he didn't get on the scoresheet, he led the line excellently. Great pass to assist Mehmeti's second and help secure all three points.
Substitutes
George Earthy - 7
Looked really bright off of the bench in what is one of his first City games in his actual position.
Sinclair Armstrong - 7
Plenty of energy off of the bench and took his goal brilliantly.
Sam Bell - n/a
Good to see him back but he wasn't on long enough to make a real impact.
