Crystal Palace travel to Bristol City on Tuesday aiming to bounce back from their loss at Newcastle and claim a first win on the road this season.

The Eagles have won just three matches in all competitions this term, with Cup victories over Ipswich and Huddersfield in south London followed by a shock league win over Chelsea also at Selhurst Park.

Palace will face a stern test at Ashton Gate against a Bristol City team who have twice beaten Premier League opposition - Watford and Stoke City - in the Cup this term and are in impressive form in the Championship, suffering their first home defeat of the campaign against Leeds on Saturday.

That loss ended City's unbeaten run which had stretched back to the opening day, and the Robins will be confident they can claim another scalp on Tuesday.

Wayne Hennessey is nearing a first-team return but could be saved for the visit of struggling West Ham in the Premier League on Saturday,

Bristol City are without injured pair Nathan Baker and Korey Smith, but Jamie Paterson could return after missing the loss to Leeds United due to illness.
