Josh Griffiths - 6

Forced into one notable save in the second half. Besides that didn't have much else to do.

Lino Sousa (off for Taylor Moore 66') - 5

Quiet evening for the right-back but did what he needed to do defensively when called upon.

Connor Taylor - 7

Without the mistake for Exeter's second goal, it would have been a standout display from the defender. Monstrous defensively in some moments, particularly in the first half when he outmuscled Jay Bird in the penalty area where he had to be careful. Also got his first goal as a permanent Rovers player, turning home the ball at the back-post from a Luke Thomas cross. A good goalline clearance near the end too.

Michael Forbes - 6

The West Ham loanee won't want to watch Exeter's first goal back as a complete misskick at the front-post allowed Jay Bird a tap-in. Did read the game well in moments and produced a huge clearance off the line from Demetri Mitchell late on as well as a stand-out block.

Bryant Bilongo - 7

Some nice moments of footwork and interceptions. Also got the assist for Isaac Hutchinson's goal.

Jamie Lindsay (off for Shaq Forde 55') - 6

Tidy in the middle and did what he needed to do when called upon.

Jake Garrett - 6

Certainly a presence in the middle, never shying away from a tackle. Some of them outstanding, others ones that make you gasp with concern. Some good moments on the ball though too.

Luke Thomas - 7

More like his usual self playing in a more natural position. Funny that. Cracking ball in towards the back-post for Taylor's equaliser and buzzed around the pitch.

Isaac Hutchinson - 8

It's funny what a bit of confidence can do. The midfielder looked a completely different player to the one that started his Gas tenure. Sharp on the ball, intelligent runs and good decision making. A great finish with the goal too.

Luke McCormick - 6

Frequently involved but didn't quite have the ball fall to him the way he would have wanted.

Chris Martin (off at half-time for Ruel Sotiriou) - 5

Nothing stand out from the returning striker who will need time. Could have done with some service, didn't really have any sniffs at goal.

Substitutes

Ruel Sotiriou (on half-time) - 6

Lively second half display from the forward. Could've had a spectacular assist late on as Bilongo fired wide.

Shaq Forde (on 55') - 5

A few decent takes but nothing stand out. Also got himself booked which seems to be a habit that needs to be cut out.

Taylor Moore (on 66') - 6

Made two outstanding challenges early on. Just offered some fresh legs.
