MSS Performance manager Nick Morgan was forced to make the decision for financial reasons.
Morgan said: “The decision not to return to the grid for the 2013 season has been one of the hardest I've ever had to make. We've been prominent in the British Superbike paddock for 20 years. “We didn't want to turn up with just a half-hearted effort as the depth of talent is incredibly high and without the backing of a major title sponsor, we wouldn't have been able to run at the competitive level we know we're capable of."
MSS Performance, whose only podium finish in 2012 came in the opening race via Michael Rutter, joins Team WFR in withdrawing from British Superbikes this year.
