The Los Angeles Dodgers' fast start to the MLB season continued, while the Chicago White Sox crushed the Cubs on Friday.
The Dodgers became the first team to reach 20 wins this season thanks to a 5-1 victory over the Colorado Rockies.
Walker Buehler led the Dodgers, striking out 11 across six innings as they improved to 20-8.
They did so without Mookie Betts, who was rested.
The White Sox made light work of the Cubs with a 10-1 thrashing.
Dallas Keuchel got through eight innings for the White Sox, giving up just one run and six hits.
Meanwhile, the New York Mets' series against the Yankees was postponed after positive coronavirus tests.
Blue Jays extend streak as Lewis homers again
The Toronto Blue Jays made it six straight wins by beating the Tampa Bay Rays 6-5 after 10 innings. Lourdes Gurriel Jr. had two RBIs for Toronto.
The Houston Astros' eight-game winning run came to an end, falling to the San Diego Padres 4-3. Manny Machado went two-for-three with two RBIs.
Kyle Lewis' fine season continued for the Seattle Mariners. He hit his sixth home run of 2020 in a 7-4 win over the Texas Rangers.
Max Fried improved to 4-0 this season. The Atlanta Braves pitcher struck out five in five innings in an 11-2 thrashing of the Philadelphia Phillies.
Up against Keuchel, Jon Lester lasted just 3.2 innings for the Cubs. He gave up four homers and eight runs.
White Sox go deep
The White Sox smashed six homers as Luis Robert, Jose Abreu (twice), Danny Mendick, Yasmani Grandal and Eloy Jimenez all went deep against the Cubs.
