Arsenal stars Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice and Aaron Ramsdale will continue on England's Euro 2024 journey after a dramatic win over Slovakia. The Three Lions' strive to end their wait for major tournament silverware by the skin of their teeth after avoiding humiliation at the hands of minnows Slovakia.

Ranked 45 in the FIFA rankings, Slovakia looked set to face Switzerland in the quarter-finals after Ivan Schranz's first-half strike. England, who were pre-tournament favourites, staged a late comeback thanks to Jude Bellingham's stoppage time equaliser before Harry Kane handed the Three Lions the lead 60 seconds into extra-time.

The Gunners will be plotting their return to pre-season ahead of their Premier League curtain-raiser against Wolves on August 17. Mikel Arteta's side will be hoping to usurp Manchester City from the top-flight summit after City claimed their fourth successive crown thanks to their win over West Ham United on the final day.

The Evening Standard reported that Arsenal kicked off their preparations with an early camp in Marbella until early July. Eddie Nketiah, Emile Smith Rowe, Fabio Viera, Jurrien Timber and Reiss Nelson has been named as the early attendees, with Gabriel Jesus and Thomas Partey set to join Odegaard and White.

Arsenal take on Manchester United in Los Angeles on July 24 before facing Liverpool under new head coach Arne Slot in Philadelphia. The likes of Ben White and Martin Odegaard will be in action from the offset due to their lack of involvement at the European Championships, while Leandro Trossard has been in international action alongside England trio Saka, Rice and Ramsdale.

Trossard's Belgium take on France on Monday (July 1), looking to eliminate one of the remaining tournament favourites. Kai Havertz's involvement will continue in his home championships after Germany's 2-0 win over Denmark, with the Arsenal forward on target.
