Burton have signed Sheffield United midfielder Matthew Harriott on a one-month loan deal.
The 19-year-old has featured just twice as a substitute for his parent club since his move from Luton in the summer of 2010 and arrives at the Pirelli Stadium in search of more regular first-team football.
Brewers manager Paul Peschisolido was delighted to have landed his man and said: "He's a young lad who I've watched a few times now in reserve team games. He brings us athleticism in the middle of the park which is something I think we need."
Harriott was a major part of the Blades' excellent run in the FA Youth Cup last year which saw them reach the final where they were defeated by Manchester United.
He follows Lionel Ainsworth to Burton after the Shrewsbury midfielder joined on a similar deal earlier on Tuesday.
The pair are both expected to go into the Brewers' squad for the clash with Port Vale.
