DORSET star Brennan Camp has announced his departure from AFC Bournemouth.

Camp, 22, finished the season on loan with National League side Eastleigh and has had loan spells at Dorchester Town, Poole Town, and Weymouth.

Versatile Portland-bred defender Camp was reportedly mulling over a new Bournemouth deal after making his Cherries debut in the 6-0 EFL Cup thrashing by Norwich in August.

The ex-Scotland Under-19 international has found opportunities limited under boss Scott Parker, making just two appearances for the club.

Eastleigh are known to be keen on securing his signature, with Camp's deal ending on June 30.

Camp said: “After 14 years at Bournemouth, I feel like it’s the right time to leave and move on to the next stage in my career.

“I want to thank everybody associated with the football club over the years I have been there, who have helped me become the player and person I am today.

“I managed to make my first team debut this season, which was a dream of mine when I first joined the club at the age of seven.

“So many great achievements and experiences that I will never forget.”
