Canada's Olympic women's hockey roster revealed
Canada has assembled the roster tasked with wresting Olympic hockey gold back from the United States.
Twenty-three players were named to the women's Olympic squad Tuesday, highlighted by captain and superstar forward Marie-Philip Poulin.

Canada has 10 first-time Olympians on the roster, several of which were left off the team that placed second in PyeongChang. That list includes two goaltenders and five members of the defence corps.
Veterans include Poulin and Johnston, who will be playing in their fourth Games, as well as Spooner, Larocque, Daoust, and Jenner, who are making their third appearances, respectively.
According to Hailey Salvian of The Athletic, Victoria Bach, Meaghan Mikkelson and Kristin O'Neill were the final cuts.

Canada opens its tournament Feb. 3 versus Switzerland at Beijing National Indoor Stadium.
