Captain Tom Has Launched A Gin And It’s For A Great Cause
Buying a bottle gin is never not a good idea. But now, instead of it just being a nice thing to do because you fancy a G&T, this particular bottle gin is for a good cause.
Captain Tom Moore, aka that absolute hero that did laps of his nursing home garden to raise millions and millions of pounds for the NHS, has launched a gin with proceeds going to The Captain Tom Foundation.
Captain Tom recently revealed that he’s a big fan of a G&T on a Sunday afternoon, just before a roast. A man after our own hearts…
He’s joined forces with Otterbeck Distillery to create Captain Sir Tom’s Gin. The gin has been inspired by the herbs grown in Captain Tom’s childhood garden in Yorkshire, and it features notes of rosemary and thyme. And it’s suggested that you serve it with tonic water and a blackberry and mint sprig garnish.
For Captain Sir Tom, his family and Otterbeck Distillery, the gin provides a great opportunity to support wonderful causes as proceeds from every bottle sold will be donated to his foundation.
