Car ends up on roof during two-vehicle crash in residential road

A CAR flipped onto its roof during a two-vehicle crash.

Emergency services were called to East Howe Lane, Bournemouth shortly after 3pm on Friday after being alerted to a crash.

On arrival, police closed off the road while firefighters rescued the stranded car and its passengers.

A Dorset Police spokesperson said there were no reports of any serious injuries and that the road was reopened at 4.24pm.

A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service added: “Crews from Redhill Park and Springbourne were mobilised to a report of a two-vehicle RTC on East Howe Lane, Bournemouth.

“The first attending crew arrived on scene within four minutes of booking mobile to the incident confirmed one vehicle was on its roof but all persons were accounted for and out of the vehicles.

“Crews made the vehicles safe and administered first aid.”
