Carlisle United boss pipped to manager of month award
Carlisle United's Mike Williamson has been pipped to the League Two manager of the month award.
Instead the November prize has gone to Morecambe boss Derek Adams.
The bosses of League Two's bottom two clubs were on the SkyBet shortlist for November along with Crewe Alexandra's Lee Bell and MK Dons' Scott Lindsey.
The judges have opted to give the award to Adams, who led Morecambe to two wins and a defeat in the league last month.
Morecambe's six points in the month was matched by United, with Carlisle's tally coming in four unbeaten games with one win and three draws.
It means Carlisle's wait eight-year wait for manager of the month recognition continues, their last such winner being Keith Curle for October 2016.
Adams, whose assistant is the former United captain and Workington Reds manager Danny Grainger, got the nod for the latest prize following wins over Harrogate Town and Swindon Town, either side of a defeat to Port Vale.

The Shrimps are now 23rd, above Carlisle on goals scored.
United's results last month in the league saw a win at Salford City followed by draws against Bromley, Doncaster Rovers and Crewe Alexandra.
The respective clubs are locked in a battle for survival with more key games this weekend.
While United are at home to Chesterfield, Morecambe go to Cheltenham Town. Both clubs will be aiming to overtake third-bottom Swindon Town, who go to Bradford City.
Carlisle will face Morecambe in a crunch survival six-pointer on Boxing Day at Brunton Park.
League Two's player of the month for November, meanwhile, is MK Dons midfielder Alex Gilbey.
The judging panel for manager of the month comprises former Barnsley manager Danny Wilson, Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
The player of the month panel is Goodman, Davies and EFL chief executive Trevor Birch.
