Three British players will be in action on Tuesday at the Indian Wells Open with Jack Draper and Emma Raducanu landing tasty fourth-round encounters.

Draper reached the last 16 on the back of winning two all-British clashes as he defeated Dan Evans in two sets in the second round and followed it up with another impressive win over former world No 1 Andy Murray on Monday, winning 7-6 (8-6), 6-2 on Monday in what may well signal a changing of the guard.

The 21-year-old’s reward is a date with top seed Alcaraz after the reigning US Open champion defeated Tallon Griekspoor 7-6 (7-4), 6-3.

It will be their second meeting with Alcaraz winning the first encounter in Basel last October.

“I’m ready. I love playing those kind of matches,” the world No 2 said. “Jack’s playing really well. I played against him just once in Basel, not a long time ago. It was really tough.

“I know that I have to put my best level, I have to show my 100 per cent to [beat] a great opponent like Jack. I think it’s going to be a really beautiful match to watch for the crowd and obviously I’m going to enjoy the match.”

What time is the Carlos Alcaraz vs Jack Draper match?

The encounter will take place on Stadium 1 court and it won’t get underway before 18:00 local time (01:00 GMT). Of course it could start later of some of the other matches take several hours to complete.

Andrey Rublev (6) vs Cameron Norrie (10) – 11:00 (12:30 GMT)*

Over on the WTA Tour side, world No 1 Swiatek and Raducanu will also meet for a second time in their careers with the former winning their previous clash on the clay in Stuttgart last year.

Swiatek advanced after taking out former US Open champion Bianca Andreescu while Raducanu defeated Beatriz Haddad Maia in three sets.

“I think after Stuttgart, I just know how her shots feel on the racket, because before I haven’t even practiced with her,” Swiatek said of the 2021 US Open winner.

“It helps that way, but on the other hand, it’s great because we are playing on hard court, and there was clay, but actually this surface is slower. I think I have to, like, really take care of the tactics anyway, and we’ll see. Honestly, like every day is different. Stuttgart match was like almost a year ago. So long time ago.”

What time is the Iga Swiatek vs Emma Raducanu match?

The match will take place after the Alcaraz-Draper encounter on Stadium 1 court and won’t get underway before 20:00 local time (03:00 GMT).

Other big WTA matches on Tuesday:
