Read the latest in Casualty Ward as Tim Lafai is set for a stint on the sidelines, Hull’s forward has been ruled out for the season plus a blow for Toulouse.

Hull forward ruled out for season

Hull’s Andre Savelio will miss the remainder of the season through injury.

The 27-year-old was forced from the field during the club’s Good Friday defeat to Hull KR at Craven Park. Scan results have shown he has ruptured his ACL and he will require surgery, forcing him to miss the rest of the season.

Tim Lafai sidelined with broken hand

Salford centre Tim Lafai is set to miss up to five weeks with a broken hand. The Samoa international didn’t play against Catalans.

Marc Sneyd left the fixture against Toulouse on Easter Monday with a knee bang. However, he is expected to be healthy for their clash with Wigan on Sunday.

Kallum Watkins returned to action for the first time in 10 months. Speaking after the game on Kallum Watkins, Rowley said: “Kallum looked like an international player.

“I am really pleased for him and I don’t mind celebrating that fact on what is otherwise a bad day.”

Toulouse suffer blow

Toulouse will be without Guy Armitage for at least two months after he suffered a broken larynx in the French derby on Thursday.

He has scored five tries in eight appearances for Toulouse so far this season.

Failed head assessments

Leeds half-back Blake Austin failed his HIA following the club’s defeat to Castleford on Monday. He will miss their clash with Toulouse on Friday in a battle of 11th versus 12th respectively.

Wakefield’s Thomas Minns also failed his HIA in the act of scoring for Trinity against Wigan at the DW Stadium. Willie Poching’s side travel to Hull KR on Saturday.

Catalans latest

Catalans forward Jordan Dezaria will be sidelined with a groin injury, head coach Steve McNamara confirmed.

Mike McMeeken is set to miss four weeks of action after dislocating his wrist against Toulouse last Thursday.

Lewis Dodd ruled out for season

St Helens head coach Kristian Woolf has confirmed Lewis Dodd will miss the rest of the season after picking up an Achilles injury.

Dodd came off during St Helens’ Good Friday win over Wigan at the Totally Wicked Stadium.

Wigan trio could return

Matt Peet could have Willie Isa, Liam Marshall and Iain Thornley back for Sunday against the Red Devils. Skipper Thomas Leuluai is set to have scans later today.

Wigan forward Oliver Partington had a slight knock and was rested against Wakefield, but should be in contention for Sunday.
