Cavan and ulster midfielder David Givney has completed a transfer to Dublin club Ballymun Kickhams.

The 24 year-old former DIT student and Sigerson Cup winner has made the transfer to the capital from his native Mountnugent in Cavan for what’s believed to be “work related” reasons.

“It was definitely something that was being talked about,” explained Cavan PRO Declan Woods. ”I can confirm that the transfer has taken place officially with all the paper work having been finalised.”
