Following the CAF Confederation Cup group stage draws, Esosa Igbinoba says that Rivers United must treat their opponents equally.
The event was held on Wednesday in Cairo and the Nigerian side were pitted in Group A alongside FUS Rabat (Morocco), Kampala City Council Authority (KCCA) of Uganda and Tunisian giant, Club Africain.
Reacting to the draws, Igbinoba insists that Rivers United will be ready for all their group opponents, but has some reservations for Club Africain whom he described as a 'stumbling block'.
“We have seen the draw and are comfortable with it because there is nothing we can do at this point to change our group opponents," Igbinoba told Goal.
"We must be prepared for them and take all of them equally even though I believe that Club Africain will prove to be stumbling block for us.
“We must put our house in order and ensure that we play our opponents with our best legs from the beginning of the group stage throughout the six matches. We must first aspire to qualify for the quarter-final from our group before talking about our next target," he concluded.
