CELTIC defender Boli Bolingoli could be heading for the exit door at Parkhead with an English Championship side interested in securing the defender's services, according to reports.

The Belgian full-back moved to Glasgow in 2019 from Rapid Vienna in a deal worth around £2million and signed a four-year deal but has struggled for game-time since.

A loan stint in Turkey during the 2020/21 campaign was punctuated by injury before Bolingoli was shipped out on loan once again in February of this year. He joined Russian outfit Ufa in February on a temporary deal before the arrangement was ripped up in April due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The arrival of Alexandro Bernabei has shoved Bolingoli further down the pecking order at Parkhead and with 12 months left on his contract, this summer represents Celtic's last chance to recoup some of their outlay by selling the 27-year-old.

According to the Reading Chronicle, Bolingoli is attracting interest from Reading, with the English Championship side 'keeping tabs' on the defender ahead of the new season as they mull over their options.
