CELTIC winger Liel Abada enjoyed a stellar debut campaign in Scotland - but the Israeli insists he is not thinking about leaving Parkhead anytime soon.

The talented 20-year-old moved to Glasgow from Maccabi Petah Tikva in his homeland last summer and made a quick impression in Ange Postecoglou's side, providing 15 goals and 11 assists in all competitions.

That impressive form was recognised as Abada scooped the PFA's Young Player of the Season award earlier this month and there have been reports in Israel that other European clubs have been tracking the attacker's progress.

However, the man himself insists that the thought of moving on from Celtic hasn't crossed his mind as the winger revealed his excitement at the prospect of Champions League football next season.

“It’s not right now to talk about what will happen next," Abada told Israeli outlet sport5.co.il.

“I just finished my first season at Celtic. I’m having fun here, I’m fine here. What will happen next? I cannot know.

“I will be with family and friends and prepare ourselves for next season. There is a team and at the moment it is not right to talk about what will happen.

“Next season will be very significant. It’s my childhood dream to play in the Champions League.”
