Celtic vs Rangers team news confirmed as Scottish Cup Final takes centre stage

Celtic and Rangers face off this afternoon in the Scottish Cup Final for the last available trophy of the season.

Both clubs have one to their name this term with Gers lifting the Premier Sports Cup back in December with a win over Aberdeen while Celts won the Premiership title with an eight point gap. Both Brendan Rodgers and Philippe Clement are desperate to end their respective campaigns with a victory to seal the domestic double for their clubs.

Rodgers has not lost this fixture to his counterpart this year but the Belgian will be hoping that all changes this afternoon at Hampden. The Hoops have arguably had the better build for this one with their squad fit and ready to go.

Gers, meanwhile, have been forced to contend with injury issues as Clement refused to tell the press at his conference this week which of his players were even available for the final.

Now, though, the personnel decisions have been made and it's time for the squads to do the talking on the pitch. Football Scotland has today's team lines.

Celtic XI: Hart, Johnston, CCV, Scales, Taylor, McGregor, Hatate, O'Riley, Forrest, Maeda, Kyogo.

Subs: Bain, Palma, Idah, Kuhn, Nawrocki, Iwata, Bernardo, Ralston, Welsh.

Rangers XI: Butland, Tavernier, Balogun, Davies, Ridvan, Diomande, Raskin, Cantwell, Sterling, Silva, Dessers.

Subs: McCrorie, Lundstram, Jack, Matondo, Sima, Dowell, Wright, McCausland, McKinnon.
