Celtic vs Slovan Bratislava: TV channel, live stream, VAR and Champions League team news
Celtic kick off their quest for the Champions League knockout stages against old foes Slovan Bratislava.
Both teams last faced one another in the 1963-64 European Cup Winners' Cup quarter-finals, with the Hoops winning both games 1-0. Six decades on, the green-and-white faithful will be expecting another victory and probably by a bigger scoreline as they look to get their European campaign off with a bang.
Celts have struggled to make any sort of impact in continental competition in recent years, suffering heavy defeats against the likes of PSG, Barcelona and Real Madrid. But after being handed a favourable draw in this year's new-look competition, Brendan Rodgers' men will fancy their chances of finishing in the top 24 of the league phase, which would earn them a play-off for a chance of last-16 progression.
