When is the UEFA Champions League draw? Pots, seedings, group stage dates and odds

Champions League football is almost back with the group stage draw for Europe’s premier club competition just around the corner.

While Arsenal are set for another stint in the Europa League, Chelsea are back in the big time and will be joined by three more Premier League representatives.

Liverpool are, of course, holders having gone one better than the season before and lifted the famous trophy in Madrid.

They beat Tottenham at the Wanda Metropolitano, who enjoyed a thrilling run to the showpiece before goals from Mohamed Salah and Divock Origi ended their dream.

Having dominated English football again last season, Manchester City are once more out to replicate that success on the European stage.

Standard Sport will be bringing you live coverage of the group stages.

When and where is the draw?

The group stage draw will take place in Monaco on Thursday, 29 August at 5pm BST.
