Liverpool's preparations for the Champions League final hit a snag with the team bus stuck in traffic on the way to the stadium.

The Reds are in their third European Cup final in four years and face Real Madrid for the second time in that run, having lost to the Spanish giants in 2018.

Real Madrid had little trouble getting to the Stade de France, and their fans were the first through the doors of the national stadium as kick-off approached.

However, Liverpool's team coach was delayed by as much as 20 minutes, according to reporters in Paris, with the squad not getting to the national stadium until just over an hour before kick-off.

Paris was beseiged by Liverpool fans throughout the day as the sun bore down. Thousands partied in fan parks and bars across the city before heading to the stadium.
