The Champions League group stage is reaching its fascinating climax and yet some lucky fans are already able to pencil in their trip to the last-16.

Liverpool were the first to win their group after matchday four, meaning the Reds will be seeded for the spring’s knockout stage.

Juventus, Bayern Munich and Ajax have also joined them in qualifying for the next round. Manchester United booked their place with a win over Villarreal on Tuesday while Chelsea and Manchester City joined them after wins over their group rivals.
