Championship star facing lengthy ban after admitting to biting Liverpool youngster
Preston North End striker Milutin Osmajic is facing a lengthy ban after admitting to biting Liverpool youngster Owen Beck during a Championship clash this month.
The Reds loanee was featuring for Blackburn Rovers in its Lancashire derby with Preston on September 22 when Montenegrin forward Osmajic decided to sink his teeth into the left-back's neck in horrifying scenes caught on camera.
Osmjic was initially only given a yellow card for his actions while Beck was inadvertently sent off for his part in the melee, but the former has since admitted to his vile behavior and will now face an extended period of time on the sidelines as punishment.

Preston director Peter Ridsdale told talkSPORT : “Milutin Osmajic has responded within the time frame as is appropriate and he has accepted the charge that the FA have put to him.”
When asked whether Osmajic admitted to biting Beck ahead of the September 30 deadline, Ridsdale added: “He has accepted the charge that the FA put to him which was that he was seen to bite the opposing player in the game against Blackburn Rovers.
“We've already indicated to the player what we're doing. I want to keep that obviously in-house but you can be assured that that's not something that we condone as a football club and we've taken appropriate action.”
Osmajic will still be available for Preston's clash with Watford on Wednesday as the Football Association scrambles to make a final decision on his punishment.
Beck, meanwhile, took to social media to display the bite mark he received during Blackburn's feisty affair with Preston at Deepdale, which left him outraged after officials failed to spot the incident.
Accompanied by the caption "scruffy b------", viewers could clearly see the aftermath of Osmajic's attack on the back of Beck's neck, which also left his manager John Eustace up in arms.
Speaking to talkSPORT in his post-match interview following the game, the Blackburn boss said: "He's got a big bite mark on the back of his neck and he's been in and showed all the lads that.
"He's very disappointed to be sent off, but obviously he doesn't like to have that on the back of his neck as well, so he's a bit quiet in there and a bit shook up."
