The 24-year-old, who has adopted both a left-wing and left-back position for the Owls, saw his original month-long deal expire after Saturday's 2-0 win over Charlton, where he bowed out with a goal.
But boss Dave Jones has moved to extend the Frenchman's deal until next month, with the Premier League club confirming the deal on their Twitter feed.
Wednesday have also extended the loan deal of Stoke striker Mamady Sidibe.
The 33-year-old, who moved to Hillsborough last month, will now stay with the Owls until January 19.
Sidibe has made five appearances for Wednesday so far but has yet to open his goalscoring account.
