Tom Latham – take a bow.
The New Zealand batsman took an absolute stunner at short leg to dismiss Faf du Plessis in the third Test against South Africa.

Latham, who’s a wicketkeeper by trade, brilliantly anticipated De Plessis’ paddle sweep off Mitchell Santner and set off in the right direction before the shot had even been played.
He then stuck out a hand and plucked the ball out of the air, dismissing Du Plessis for 53 as South Africa were all out for 314.
Some fans thought it was one of the best catches they’d ever seen.

To round off a pretty decent day, Latham was 42 not out as New Zealand reached 67 without loss at stumps.
