Cheers! Premier League's biggest drinkers revealed as fans ranked by how much alcohol they consume
For many football fans, following their team can drive them to drink and now it’s been revealed which supporters down the most alcohol a week.
Whether it’s related to the stress their teams put them through is unclear but it may not surprise you to know that Crystal Palace fans, who had to watch their side lose the first seven games of the season without scoring a single goal, are right up there.
There are plenty of others who have had seasons that could see them turn to the bottle; Arsenal fans have been desperate to see Arsene Wenger go, West Brom have just been terrible all season long while West Ham fans haven’t really had time to drink with all the pitch invasions.

Then there are the teams with something to celebrate. Man City supporters are on a season-long celebration while Burnley fans will be living on champagne or whatever it is people from Burnley celebrate with.
Anyway, now according to a survey by Footballtips.com of 2,400 UK-based football fans aged 18 and above, it has been revealed which fans drink the most units per week and which drink the fewest.
Palace are indeed up there, in second place on 40 units, but it’s Everton who are top on 43 units, with Toffees fans clearly not impressed with Sam Allardyce. Maybe they’re all on pints of wine. Chelsea (35 unites), Spurs (34 units) and Man United (31) are also up there.
Down the bottom of the table with just four units a week are Leicester fans, which seems odd considering how often their club want to try and give them free beer. Bournemouth (5), Brighton and Southampton fans (both 6) are also down there; must be all those kale smoothies they drink on the south coast instead.
