Chelsea are already two games away from nightmare defender situation
Chelsea are moving dangerously close to two of their star players earning a one-match ban in the Premier League.
Saturday lunchtime saw the Blues claim a 3-0 victory over West Ham at the London Stadium.
Nicolas Jackson scored a first-half brace for Chelsea against the Hammers before Cole Palmer made sure of the victory with a goal shortly after the interval.
The win moved Chelsea up to 10 points in the Premier League this term and are unbeaten in their last four top-flight fixtures since being beaten by Manchester City on the opening day.
Chelsea will now prepare to face Barrow in the third round of the Carabao Cup next midweek, but two Blues players are walking a disciplinary tightrope.
Wesley Fofana and Marc Cucrella were both booked during the victory over West Ham. The cautions mean that the duo have now each received three yellow cards across the first five Premier League matches.

Players who receive five yellow cards across the first 19 Premier League matches earn a one-match suspension in the top-flight. Previously, bookings in the Carabao Cup contributed to the total but now the rules state that cautions are competition-specific.
That means Fofana and Cucurella are just two yellow cards away from being handed a one-game ban in the Premier League for Chelsea.
Chelsea's next top-flight fixtures sees them host Brighton at Stamford Bridge next Saturday. That will be followed by another home clash against Nottingham Forest in the Blues' final match before the October international break.
After the two-week hiatus, Chelsea have Premier League matches against Liverpool, Newcastle, Manchester United and Arsenal in the run-up to the November international. The Blues will also have Europa Conference League fixtures in the schedule, with league phase matches against Gent and Panathinaikos.
