Chelsea have hinted that Jadon Sancho could start a second straight Premier League match for the Blues when Brentford visit Stamford Bridge on Sunday evening (7pm).

Sancho returned to the starting line-up against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend, scoring the first of four Chelsea goals during that away win. The summer signing started the previous match on the subs bench, before scoring the fifth for the Blues at Southampton as a second-half substitute.

After arriving on loan from Manchester United on transfer deadline day, Sancho started the following four league matches before dropping out of the XI and then missing three games through illness. The winger returned as a late substitute against Leicester City last month before starting in Heidenheim and then against Aston Villa.

Another start could now be in the offing for the Brentford match, too, with the club's official social media accounts featuring Sancho in their matchday graphic on Sunday morning. They did the same with Christopher Nkunku before the trip to Southampton, with the player later starting only a second league game of the season.

The unavailability of Pedro Neto seems to increase Sancho's chances of starting. The winger will serve a one-match suspension on Sunday, after being shown a fifth yellow card this season late on at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Noni Madueke notably replaced Sancho during the win over Villa at the start of this month - and he's now likely to be in contention to cover Neto's absence. There are lingering doubts about the availability of Joao Felix after being deemed unfit to travel to Kazakhstan for their midweek Conference League match against Astana.

There are a few question marks about the involvement of Moises Caicedo, though. As always, the midfielder shared a matchday graphic on his Instagram story detailing the kick-off time in his native Ecuador.
