Chelsea given Khvicha Kvaratskhelia transfer 'green light' as deal agreed and meeting confirmed
Chelsea have been given the green light to sign Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Napoli this month.
The 23-year-old winger has suddenly emerged as a potential target for numerous clubs following his impressive performances in the Italian top flight.
Kvaratskhelia, who sees his contract at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona expire in June 2027, has featured 17 times in the Serie A this season, netting five and setting up three.

Playing a key role in Antonio Conte's side, he's helped Napoli climb to the top of the table.
Despite the Georgia international's modest return in front of goal, his eye-catching displays have reportedly courted interest from Chelsea and Liverpool.
According to The Athletic, the Premier League duo have shortlisted Kvaratskhelia as a potential target, but they face tough competition from Paris Saint-Germain.
In fact, Gianluca Di Marzio has reported that the French giants have reached a verbal agreement with Napoli on a deal for the Georgian, and a meeting has been scheduled for next week.
It's said that PSG aren't prepared to bid more than €75m (£63m) for Kvaratskhelia.
Di Marzio adds that the Parisians are, however, open to sending Milan Skriniar to Napoli on loan to sweeten the deal, so long as the Italian giants cover the entirety of his salary.
While PSG put in the ground work, Enzo Maresca has been told why Kvaratskhelia would an excellent signing for Chelsea.
Speaking to GiveMeSport, David Webb insisted the winger would shine in the Premier League. The Georgia assistant coach said: "He has definitely got the scope to fit in well in the Premier League because of the way he plays.
"Any of the top four or five sides would be suited to his style. If you're looking at Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool or Manchester City, he could definitely fit in because of the way they play with that raw, attacking flair, at pace and with intensity.
"You can see him doing that in the future. But I think, for now, he has been really level-headed where he has been at Napoli. I think he deserves the plaudits he is getting now, and I'm sure that he will do really well wherever he goes on his next venture, if he chooses to move on this month.
"Whichever club he goes to in his career - whether it be somewhere like PSG, Liverpool, Manchester City or Chelsea - they have got really high expectations and are challenging at the highest level for trophies. He is calm and mature, but would also bring that winning mentality and would not be someone who is going to get overawed by the pressure."
