Chelsea and Liverpool are among the clubs on red alert, with Borussia Dortmund reportedly prepared to sell playmaker Christian Pulisic for £65million.

The 19-year-old has two years left on his Dortmund contract, and the German giants are prepared to cash in on him. Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are also believed to be eyeing a move for the youngster.

Pulisic, who can play on the wing or behind the striker, has impressed on Dortmund’s American tour. He has already won 21 caps for the United States.

Bayern is still the most likely destination for Pulisic, with the five-time European champions seeing him as a natural successor to the likes of Arjen Robben or Franck Ribery.

But a move to the Premier League is perfectly possible too. Chelsea are still keen to strengthen their squad following a disappointing fifth place finish in the Premier League last season, with new manager Maurizio Sarri wanting to make a quick impression.

Liverpool have already had a busy summer in the transfer market as they chase a first league title since 1990, and they had a close look at the impressive Pulisic when he scored twice against them in a 3-1 friendly win for Dortmund in America last weekend.
