Queens Park Rangers and Preston are among the clubs interested in signing Chelsea full-back Dujon Sterling on a season-long loan.

The Blues are ready to sanction another temporary move for their academy graduate, but will not entertain selling him during this transfer window.

Thomas Tuchel regards the 22-year-old highly but does not have space for him in the first-team squad for the coming season.

Sterling has just one year left on his current contract, but Chelsea hold a contract clause to extend the deal by another year.

The young defender performed well on loan at Championship minnows Blackpool last season in a variety of positions and is keen to line up for a more upwardly mobile club.

Preston, who are set to sign Tottenham striker Troy Parrott on loan for the season, and QPR both finished above Blackpool in the Championship last term.

He recently featured for the Under-23s in a pre-season friendly against Boreham Wood.
