Manchester City have reportedly ‘offered’ Raheem Sterling to a quartet of top European clubs, including Chelsea.

Sterling enjoyed another impressive season for Pep Guardiola’s side, with 17 goals and nine assists in 47 appearances.

But City have a ludicrous wealth of options in those forward areas, with Erling Haaland the latest star name to be added to an already deadly attack.

And AS (via Sport Witness) claim Sterling ‘considers his time at Manchester City to be over’ and the club are said to be willing to sell him for less than his market value, which stands at £76.5m according to Transfermarkt.

As well as Chelsea, the report claims Sterling – whose current City deal expires in the summer of 2023 – has also been offered to Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid this summer.

The England international could be an alternative to Ousmane Dembele, who is thought to be Chelsea’s top forward target.

The Barcelona winger is out of contract in June and despite their reticence to sell him, the La Liga side have been unable to agree a new deal.

Paris Saint-Germain were also said to be in the race, but have now reportedly dropped out, leaving Chelsea to lead the charge.

Meanwhile, Ray Parlour believes Madrid should be the side to make a move for Sterling this summer.

“I can see some players thinking about trying a different league, a different culture – I wouldn’t put it past Raheem thinking about that.

“He’s got one year left on his contract and, it’s amazing, I thought Raheem must be 30-odd now – but he’s only 27! He’s in the prime of his life and career and he doesn’t play on a regular basis because Man City have got so many good players.

“So, yeah, what a move. Real Madrid have surprised everyone this year. I expected them to win LaLiga, but not the Champions League. To beat Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea, and you’d argue two of those teams are the best in the world at the moment, it’s an amazing season.

“Antonio Rudiger is going there as well, Real Madrid are really stepping it up now and Raheem Sterling would be a great signing for them. He’d do a great job if he went there.”
