Chelsea player ratings as Enzo Fernandez and three others sensational in Leicester City win
Chelsea have picked up a crucial three points away at Leicester City as Enzo Maresca made a successful return to the King Power Stadium.
Nicolas Jackson fired the Blues ahead early on with a calm finish after forcing a mistake from Wout Faes. Chelsea had multiple other opportunities but failed to take them and it looked as if a second goal was never going to come.
However, with around 15 minutes to go, Enzo Fernandez headed in the visitors' second of the afternoon. Jordan Ayew scored deep into added time but the Blues held on for all three points.
Chelsea now go within a point of second-place Manchester City, who play later on today. Bobby Vincent has rated the Blues players for their performances in Leicester...
Robert Sanchez - Not much to do but once again not convincing with the ball at his feet. 5.5.
Wesley Fofana - Booed every time he touched the ball but dealt with the adversity well. 6.
Benoit Badiashile - Aggressive. Gets in front of his man early on to intercept possession and create a chance. 6.
Levi Colwill - Calm and composed. A leader at the back. 6.
Marc Cucurella - An attacking threat. Unfortunate not to have an assist after setting Noni Madueke up for a disallowed goal. A fine cross to Jackson, leading to Fernandez's goal. 7.
Moises Caicedo - Brilliant yet again. Great sliding tackle on 29 minutes to win the ball back and create a chance for Chelsea. 7.
Enzo Fernandez - Set up Jackson's goal with a nice lay-off. Gets himself a goal, too. Much better from the Argentine. 8.
Noni Madueke - Bright as ever. Should have scored in the first-half after Jackson's cross. 6.
Cole Palmer - Some moments of class as you expect. No goal for Chelsea's No.20, though. 6.
Joao Felix - Started off really brightly. Showed great work-rate; something that people have questioned before. 6.5.
Nicolas Jackson - A great, great goal early on. Strength, persistence and composure. 8.
