Chelsea have made a swift start to their transfer business this summer and are showing no signs of slowing down.

Marc Guiu, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Omari Kellyman and Tosin Adarabioyo all signed during a whirlwind week spanning the start of this month and the end of last. Ian Maatsen and Omari Hutchinson departed around the same time, while Hakim Ziyech, Lewis Hall and Thiago Silva officially left the club.

After a relative lull, academy players Chinoso Chibueze and Michael Golding departed last weekend. More moves seem set to follow in and out of the club over the coming days and weeks.

Chelsea considering Conceicao

Portuguese newspaper Record reports that Chelsea are monitoring Porto winger Francisco Conceicao. The west London club are said to be alert to the Portugal international having a £25million release clause in his contract that will rise to £38million next week.

Chelsea's former manager, Andre Villas-Boas, is the club's new president and may demand the receive the fee immediately as he does not intend to facilitate the player's exit. But his ex-employers are not the only club credited with an interest in Conceicao. Atletico Madrid and RB Leipzig are both named in the report as attentive to the situation.

football.london says: Conceicao could be a shrewd signing for £25 million if Chelsea are opportunistic over the next five days. The right winger enjoyed a breakout season back at Porto last season, scoring eight goals and assisting another eight.

That form carried over to the national team, assisting three times on his full Portugal debut during a pre-tournament warm-up game against Finland. Conceicao then came off the bench in the opening game versus Czechia to score the winning goal with his first touch. Porto would triple their money, but the deal still represents brilliant value for Chelsea this summer.

Adeyemi offer planned

Chelsea are reportedly planning on making an opening bid of around £25million to sign Karim Adeyemi. Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are also named as potential suitors, but it is Chelsea who CaughtOffside claims are stepping up their interest.

Plans are also seemingly in place for the player to receive a six or seven-year contract until 2030 or 2031 amid claims that the club may be bringing the Borussia Dortmund winger in as a replacement for Raheem Sterling. They reiterate that there is interest in the former England international from the Saudi Pro League, namely Al Ahli, the team Chelsea sold Edouard Mendy to 12 months ago.

football.london says: As with Conceicao, if Adeyemi is available for around £25million then it makes sense for Chelsea to be interested. After a disappointing second season at Dortmund, the Germany international could be available for a cut-price fee.

Primarily playing out wide since moving from Red Bull Salzburg, offering the opportunity to play through the middle may appeal to Adeyemi and potentially be the best way to get the 22-year-old firing again. But after playing on both the right and the left in recent seasons, he has shown versatility that would benefit the forward line.
