Chelsea attacker Hakim Ziyech has revealed that he is “taking full control of his professional future” amid reports linking him with AC Milan.

Ziyech made a name for himself at Ajax prior to his move to Chelsea in 2020. The Blues paid around £34m to sign the attacker.

The Morocco international has only been able to impress in fits and starts under Thomas Tuchel.

Ziyech grabbed eight goals and six assists across all competitions last term but he only started 14 times in the league.

The forward is set to exit Chelsea this summer and he is being targeted by AC Milan.

Ahead of this transfer, Ziyech has announced that his career will no longer be managed by an agent as he wants to make decisions himself:

“I have reached a point in my life where I feel that the time is right for me to take full control of my professional future,” Ziyech stated via Instagram.

“I want negotiations and decisions about my career to be made by me.

“So moving forward, my team and I, together with out legal representatives, will handle the business side of things.

“Professional interest should be directed to the contact info in my bio.

“I remain incredibly grateful for your continued support.”

Elsewhere, Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Manchester City are ‘waiting to receive an official bid’ from Chelsea for Nathan Ake.

The Dutchman was an academy player at Chelsea and he only played 17 times for them across all competitions at senior level.

The centre-back has been a bit-part player for Man City over the past two seasons. He has only played 24 times in the Premier League.

Chelsea are keen to sign him and Raheem Sterling this summer. Romano is reporting (via Twitter) that the Blues have a ‘full agreement’ with Ake on personal terms.

Man City want £40-45m for Ake, but they are yet to receive an official bid for their defender. Romano adds that if he leaves, City ‘plan to replace him with a new centre-back’.
