Chelsea transfer deadline day predictions - Osimhen could sign, Sancho swap chance, Sterling deal
It could be a very busy deadline day in the Premier League. The summer transfer window closes at 11pm tonight, with plenty of business still to be done.
Chelsea could be in the market for another striker, while it is not beyond the realms of possibility that they make an audacious swoop for Jadon Sancho late in the day either.
A number of players have already left Stamford Bridge, making it a massive overhaul in west London this summer. More could still depart, however, with players such as Raheem Sterling, Ben Chilwell and Trevoh Chalobah linked with exits.
football.london writers have their say on what they think could happen on what is one of the craziest days in the footballing calendar.

A quiet deadline day, surely? No, I'm joking. Seriously, it is probably going to be absolute mayhem.
Victor Osimhen? A deal looks difficult at the moment because of his wage demands but I really would not rule Chelsea out of the equation yet. If not Osimhen, then expect a move for Ivan Toney.
If Chelsea can find a way of getting Jadon Sancho, too, then expect that to happen. For that to happen, though, or even be a possibility, they surely have to offload Raheem Sterling - and that deal is dead complicated because of the 29-year-old's salary demands.

Then you have all the possible outgoings from Stamford Bridge as well. Trevoh Chalobah may be a hot topic today, with Crystal Palace interested in the 25-year-old defender. Honestly, where do you even start?

I think all right-minded people are expecting a quiet deadline day at Stamford Bridge...
There is so much that could happen, but in truth, I'm not expecting anything major through the door. The Raheem Sterling and Jadon Sancho swap deal would make sense for Chelsea - but it really shouldn't be a priority given the signings of Joao Felix and Pedro Neto in the last couple of weeks.
Whether a deal happens for Victor Osimhen or Ivan Toney? We'll have to wait and see, but I don't think Osimhen arrives.
I think it's more of a day for outgoings. And there are a few which could take place. Trevoh Chalobah could leave to Crystal Palace if Newcastle have secured a deal for Marc Guehi. Kepa Arrizabalaga is set for the exit door on loan, and there could be more keepers following him like Djordje Petrovic.
I'd be surprised if there wasn't an offer from somewhere for Ben Chilwell; it's clear he's being frozen out and despite his injury problems he could prove to be an excellent pick up for a Premier League team if a loan or cheap permanent deal could be agreed.
I'd be surprised if the likes of Omari Kellyman and Carney Chukwuemeka are still at Stamford Bridge past the deadline. Kellyman looks a decent young prospect, but - like Chukwuemeka last season - I'm not sure he's getting much first-team football this year, despite his arrival from Aston Villa for £19million.
Elsewhere in attack there should be exits for David Datro Fofana, Armando Broja and Deivid Washington.

I expect Chelsea to sign a striker on deadline day. I'm not sure Victor Osimhen is right financially so I can see Ivan Toney making the move across the capital.
Raheem Sterling could be the most high profile player to exit on Friday and I can see the winger moving abroad, perhaps on an initial loan. Germany? Spain? Saudi Arabia? Who knows but Sterling is not in Enzo Maresca's plans so needs to leave the club for the good of his career.
I hope Trevoh Chalobah also finds a club and somewhere like Newcastle could be a good fit. There's also Ben Chilwell who also could be on the move on Friday. Could the left-back make a dramatic return to Leicester City?
This is Chelsea Football Club and it will be chaotic. Deals will go down to the wire so expect a couple of deal sheets to go in by 11pm.
