Chelsea’s UEFA Europa Conference League schedule has been revealed. The official draw took place earlier this week using new ‘AI’ software - but dates were not revealed until Sunday morning.

First up, Enzo Maresca’s side will host Belgian outfit Gent at Stamford Bridge on October 3. Next up, will be a tough trip to the Greek capital Athens where they will face Panathinaikos on October 24. Chelsea’s second European fixture at home will be against Armenian side FC Noah on November 7 before a trip to Germany to face Heidenheim on November 28. Then comes the near 3,000-mile trip to FC Astana in Kazakhstan's capital city before finishing the group stage with a home tie against Irish champions Shamrock Rovers.

Chelsea scraped through the qualifying round with a 3-2 aggregate victory over Swiss side Servette on Thursday evening with the Chelsea boss conceding that his side could have performed better, saying: “It's a competition that we are going to try and do our best. The team, the way we started, the team was there and then we conceded, they had some chances and then we lost a little bit of confidence."
