Must-have pick – Romelu Lukaku

Having overcome his goal scoring drought, I can’t look beyond Romelu Lukaku for this weekend. He struggled in front of goal from late December through to January, but has now scored three goals and provided two assists in his last five league games.

This form continued for his country as Romelu Lukaku scored a brace over the international break too. Surprisingly, he’s only five goals away from scoring thirty competitive goals at club level this season.

Of course, he is prone to having off days and he’s not been as consistent as Mohamed Salah since August but no-one has managed to match the Egyptian’s consistency. However, his recently displays are testimony to his proven pedigree.

Manchester United have averaged more than two goals per game in the Premier League this season. They will entertain a Swansea team that is still only three points away from the relegation zone in Gameweek 32. It’s just the kind of match that Romelu Lukaku needs to add to his goal scoring tally.

Comeback pick – Heung-Min Son

He may have gone five games without scoring or assisting, from late January to late February, but Heung-min Son has definitely returned to form with a bang by scoring two braces in his last two league outings.

With Harry Kane not 100% match fit at present, Son has duly stepped up to the plate and become Spurs’ main goal threat. He’s now only two goals away from eclipsing his personal goal tally from last season.

Son’s attacking threat and explosivity can’t be denied – he has registered 65 shots on goal from 29 appearances in the league this season which is excellent for someone that doesn’t operate as a traditional forward. Tottenham are due to play a Chelsea team that have only kept one clean sheet in their last six games, which bodes well for Son.

Differential pick – Johann Berg Gudmundsson

It’s not often that fantasy football managers would ever consider a Burnley player that isn’t a defender. However, I think a case can now be made for their Icelandic international. Johann Berg Gudmundsson was a bit part player for the Clarets last season.

In fact, he seldom played full matches at the start of this season and failed to score or assist in his first six games of this campaign. However, he’s started all of Burnley’s league games since October and more recently he’s assisted twice in their last two games.

Interestingly, Gudmundsson has provided the same amount of assists in the league as Willian since August with seven. He has also been known to take free kicks on occasion which adds to his appeal.

Burnley are due to visit an all but relegated West Brom team this Saturday and Gudmundsson should play a key part in their attempts at goal. However, some early reports indicate that he may not be 100%, but wait for Sean Dyche’s press conference for official confirmation.
