Chris Davies has made seven changes to Birmingham City's team for tonight’s Bristol Street Trophy Motors clash with Fulham, including an outing for birthday boy Bailey Peacock-Farrell.

The Northern Ireland international returns to action after losing his place to Ryan Allsop a month ago and will play in front of a defence that also features Alfons Sampstead, the on-loan right back who has not made the match-day squad in the last two games.

Dion Sanderson is the other returnee, who will take his place alongside regular starters Christoph Klarer and Alex Cochrane. Ethan Laird and Ben Davies are on the bench.

Davies has opted to rotate both of his usual central midfielders, with Taylor Gardner-Hickman and Marc Leonard coming in for Paik Seung-ho and Tomoki Iwata who have been given a well-earned rest.

Jay Stansfield starts up front against his former team, having scored for Fulham against Blues in the Carabao Cup earlier this season. He is supported by Willum Willumsson, Alfie May and the exciting Ayumu Yokoyama.

The bench is made up of the seven players who started at Mansfield on Saturday. The only absentee from the One Call Stadium is the ineligible Luke Harris.

BLUES (4-2-3-1): Peacock-Farrell; Sampsted, Klarer, Sanderson, Cochrane; Leonard, Gardner-Hickman; Willumsson, May, Yokoyama; Stansfield. Subs: Allsop, Laird, Paik, Anderson, Dykes, Iwata, Davies
