Chris Sutton rubs Rangers salt in wounds as Todd Cantwell 'shushburger' comes back to haunt after Celtic defeat

Chris Sutton has rubbed salt into Todd Cantwell's Scottish Cup wounds as he mocked the Rangers star once again.

The Celtic hero and the midfielder have been embroiled in a number of different rows over the course of the season with Sutton usually poking fun at the 26-year-old after defeats. And after the Hoops sealed the Double with a Hampden win over their rivals this afternoon thanks to Adam Idah's late tap-in, Sutton again reared his head on social media to troll again.

Last weekend Cantwell deleted a social media post of himself shushing the fans with the caption: "shushburger please" and that left the Ibrox support irked by his antics.

And after Celts beat their foes at the national stadium, Sutton brought it back. He took to social media to write: "Well played Celtic and Adam Idah.

"I may celebrate with a Shushburger this evening", accompanied by a four-leaf clover emoji.

Sutton and Cantwell have been at odds all term with both going back and forth over different problems. The ex-Norwich man branded Sutton an "attention seeker" back in October amid a feud over Sutton dubbing the player "Tik Tok Todd".
