Cliftonville boss Jim Magilton hits out at 'really poor decision' as he questions 'pointless' appeals
Frustrated Cliftonville boss Jim Magilton hit out at the "really poor decision" to rule out Ryan Curran's opening goal at Inver Park on Friday night.
Curran thought he had nodded the North Belfast Reds in front against champions Larne in the first half, but it was controversially disallowed for offside.
It would prove a costly moment for Magilton's men who went on to lose 2-0 thanks to a Luke Conlan own goal and a 79th-minute strike from Dylan Sloan.

Magilton believes it was a pivotal moment in the game.
He told the BBC: "It was a really poor decision not to give the Ryan Curran goal. For the life of me I can't understand why it wasn't a goal.
"They are trying to say it is offside, but nobody from Larne complained. There were no hands going up for offside.
"So I thought it was a really poor decision. And that goal would have been just rewards for the way we played in the first half."
Magilton also said it was "pointless" trying to discuss the contentious incident with the match officials after the game as any appeals would be ignored.
He added: "When you then try to address it with the officials, there is no conversation. We will get nothing back and it's pointless me speaking with anyone because nobody even returns your calls.
