Derby manager Nigel Clough is excited at the prospect of a Pride Park double-header

Derby boss Nigel Clough is looking forward to back-to-back home matches at Pride Park this week.

Clough sees the visits of Charlton on Tuesday and Burnley on Saturday as the ideal opportunity to bounce back from the disappointing defeat at Huddersfield, where the Rams lost 1-0 to a goal scored after only 47 seconds.

"I wish the next game could have been Sunday morning," said Clough following the loss to the Terriers on Saturday.

"We are looking forward to the two games and although we should have got something at Huddersfield, we are still full of confidence and excited to be back at Pride Park.

"We have got four points at home already and we want to stay unbeaten at home as long as we can."

Derby beat Watford 5-1 in their last home game on September 1 prior to the international break.
