The football world was left reeling on Friday with the awful news that former Aston Villa player Ugo Ehiogu had died following a heart attack - he had been working for Tottenham's Under 23's.

Ehiogu had enjoyed a great career as a Premier League defender before working for Spurs as a coach, enjoying his best years with Villa and Middlesbrough.
He also turned out for West Bromwich, Rangers and Sheffield United.
Before their match with Birmingham City on Sunday, the current Aston Villa squad made sure to pay their respects to an undoubted club legend by unfurling a huge banner. Villa went on to win the match with a goal from Gabby Agbonlahor, itself a fitting tribute to the much-admired Ehiogu.
