Nottingham Forest midfielder Chris Cohen is back in light training following his serious knee injury.
However, the 25-year-old is still months away from a first-team return.
Cohen has been sidelined since suffering cruciate ligament damage during the game against east midlands rivals Derby at the City Ground on September 17.
Reds boss Steve Cotterill said: "He is coming on well, he is making very good progress.
"He is a fantastic lad. He has the right attitude. He believes he will be back."
Forest have struggled in Cohen's absence and are in the midst of a battle against relegation. The club's fortunes have slightly improved in recent weeks though, with Cotterill's men winning three of their last six outings.
