Is Cole Palmer fit to start for Chelsea vs Bournemouth? Injury latest and FPL update
Chelsea are back in Premier League action on Saturday evening when they travel to AFC Bournemouth. Enzo Maresca will be hoping to have star player Cole Palmer available after he withdrew from the England squad.
The Blues' Player of the Year left the Three Lions squad last week after initially being named in Lee Carsley's squad. He missed the UEFA Nations League wins over the Republic of Ireland and Finland.
Palmer returned to Cobham to recover from ongoing issues and has been training in the build-up to the trip to the Vitality Stadium. Over 39% of Fantasy Football players on the official Premier League website have Palmer in their teams for this weekend's round of fixtures and will be sweating over his fitness.
Here, football.london takes a look at whether the forward will be able to feature against Bournemouth.
What has been said on Palmer's injury?
Palmer has started all three of Chelsea's opening three games of the season, including 90 minutes in the 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace. However, after returning to Cobham last week after withdrawing from England duty, concerns emerged over his fitness.
However, Maresca will be able to call on Palmer tonight after a week of training. "He is fit, fine and we are happy with the way he is." the Blues boss said.

Will Palmer be fit to face Bournemouth in Gameweek 4?
Fantasy Premier League gives Palmer a 75 per cent chance of playing due to a 'knock'. However, Maresca's comments in his pre-match press conference mean the England international is in contention.
Bournemouth is one team that Palmer failed to score against last season so he will be hoping to return to the scoresheet when Chelsea take on Andoni Iraola's men.
